Bohannan Huston Welcomes 17-Year Colorado Dept. of Transportation Veteran

Johnny Olson to join the Bohannan Huston Denver office

May 8, 2008 – Bohannan Huston, Inc., (BHI) is pleased to announce that Johnny Olson, P.E., has joined its Colorado operations as vice president and senior engineer. Prior to joining BHI, Mr. Olson was with the Colorado Dept. of Transportation (CDOT) for 17 years serving in a variety of capacities, including as a resident engineer and the maintenance and operations branch manager in Golden, Colorado. In his branch manager’s role, Mr. Olson was responsible for numerous statewide maintenance and engineering programs with an overall budget of approximately $280M. Mr. Olson supervised a staff of program experts and oversaw the statewide budget and operations for maintenance superintendents located around the state. In addition, Mr. Olson worked with other states and national agencies to help establish best processes for transportation needs within the CDOT. As the CDOT delegate to the Governor’s Homeland Security Senior Advisory Committee, Mr. Olson assisted with the preparation of Colorado’s Homeland Security Strategies.

At BHI, Mr. Olson will be responsible for business development and project management.
