Bohannan Huston Welcomes 17-Year Colorado Dept. of Transportation Veteran
May 8, 2008 – Bohannan Huston, Inc., (BHI) is pleased to announce that Johnny Olson, P.E., has joined its Colorado operations as vice president and senior engineer. Prior to joining BHI, Mr. Olson was with the Colorado Dept. of Transportation (CDOT) for 17 years serving in a variety of capacities, including as a resident engineer and the maintenance and operations branch manager in Golden, Colorado.
Bohannan Huston Awarded Extensive Denver Regional Aerial Photography Project
April 30, 2008 – Professional engineering and mapping services firm Bohannan Huston, Inc. (BHI) has been selected by the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) to produce high-quality digital aerial photography for the Denver Regional Aerial Photography Project (DRAPP). BHI will conduct multifaceted aerial photography of approximately 7,000 square miles of the Denver metropolitan area, including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Gilpin and Jefferson counties, and parts of Weld, Grand and Park counties. The resulting aerial imagery will be used for regional planning, evaluating and mitigating natural hazards, transportation and land use planning, natural resource management, and water resource planning.
Bohannan Huston President Brian Burnett Wins Leadership Award

Bohannan Huston Wins Engineering Excellence Award
January 23, 2008 – Bohannan Huston, Inc. (BHI) has won an ACEC New Mexico 2008 Engineering Excellence Award for its work on the Rio Grande River Crossing Project for the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA). BHI’s successful work on the project, which was part of the larger San Juan-Chama Drinking Water Project, won the top Engineering Excellence Award in the Water and Wastewater category.

December 12, 2007 – Aerial mapping for the largest photogrammetric mapping project in the US was completed nearly two weeks ahead of schedule by Bohannan Huston, Inc. (BHI) thanks to comprehensive planning and continuous communication. The acquisition spans 17 adjacent counties of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, covering 13,715 square miles of North Central Texas and requiring the synchronization of three aircraft flying Intergraph Digital maping Cameras (DMC).

Bohannan Huston Volunteers at Children's Water Festival
