Beginning in the 1980's, BHI further expanded, creating a wholly-owned subsidiary, Diginetics, Inc., in 1984 to market software the company had developed to handle its own mapping, design and drafting production needs. At its peak in 1989, the Digimap System software was in use by three state departments of transportation and over twenty engineering and mapping companies and government agencies nationwide. In May 1986, BHI moved its headquarters to the Journal Center Business Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where it is located today. |

The company expanded again in 1995 with the opening of a branch in Las Cruces, New Mexico to serve the southern New Mexico area. Acquiring the Trebor Group in 1998 consolidated the company's presence in the southern part of the state and broadened the Las Cruces office's disciplines to include municipal water and wastewater systems. Our regional presence increased with the openings of offices in Dallas, Texas in June of 2003 and Denver, Colorado in January of 2005. |
