  ELECTRICAL ENGINEER INTERN

  BHI is seeking an entry level electrical engineer that follows prescribed procedures and detailed instructions. Primary duties include: designing and drafting; performing load calculations; sizing equipment; and performing computer analysis of power and control systems. Additional responsibilities include: assisting Project Engineer in preparation of drawings and specifications for electrical power distribution, interior and exterior lighting; developing control circuiting for water/wastewater infrastructure, and other facilities designs; compiling documentation in the form of calculations and/or specialized software programs such as short circuit and load flow studies/analysis and lighting design; perform field/site visits for collection of data for use during design. Works under the direct supervision of the Project Engineer on specific assignments in the design and production of the firm's projects; will be accountable for small projects assigned and specific design activities. Basic Qualifications: BSEE degree with emphasis on power distribution and motor controls. Position is entry level requiring 0 to 2 years experience. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or able to obtain within one year of employment. Candidates with CADD experience will be considered more qualified. A background check will be run on final candidates. EOE M/F.
